My Spider and Inferi set: Descendo, Arresto Momentum, Confringo. Flipendo can apply a damage multiplier, too, with the dark arts talent upgrade. Glacius pairs well with a strong long range damage spell, but Bombarda seemingly doesn't have a specific use, so I use Diffindo, because it's quite important for dugbogs. My troll slaying set: Glacius, Diffindo, Flipendo. I put Disillusionment in this set, too, because I want it quickly, sometimes. Incendio is the strongest damage spell, and Accio makes up for it's terrible range. My main set has the shortest cooldowns: Incendio, Accio, Levioso. But repairo is one that barely gets used unfortunately except for some specific times so you can pretty much leave it off until you actually need it. If I’m fighting I’ll put more combat spells on. If I’m exploring/doing puzzles I put lumos and disillusionment on. For me I always keep my first 3 sets the same for the most part, then the last set I’ll swap the spells depending on what I’m doing. Oh and as for spells not worth slotting at all, again it kind of depends on you and your play style as well as what you’re trying to do. But if they did survive then I make sure they’re still in the air and arresto momentum them and then switch to my other set that has decendo and then that usually does the trick. I levioso them, basic cast them a few times, accio, incendio and that usually finishes most enemies. My main set has always been incendio, accio, levioso, and aresto momentum. Or if they have a red shield I may have to switch from my main set to a set with ranged attack spells since incendio is pretty short range. Enemy type only matters sometimes, like if I’m going up against an enemy that doesn’t really get affected by accio and levioso I’ll switch to my set that has mostly attack spells. It really depends on you and what spells you like.
